Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Location Manager Showcase

On Wednesday 7th February 3 Mills Studios attended the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Location Manager Showcase. The owners of 3 Mills, London Legacy Development Corporation also own the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, so we were interested to hear more about the location filming opportunities just up the road from us in the Olympic Park!

The filming opportunities on the Olympic Park are endless, and include the London Stadium, Copper Box Arena, VeloPark and London Aquatics Centre. Having been used for the Olympics these locations are ideal for filming in, with several opportunities for stadium seating, underwater swimming shots, and several private, controllable roads. There is also plenty of space for unit bases, making the Olympic Park perfect for location shoots – especially for productions shooting on-site at 3 Mills Studios already since the Olympic Park is less than 10 minutes drive from the studios!
