MADE AT 3 MILLS NEW RELEASES
Two recent #MadeAt3Mills releases have been hitting all the right notes with critics and audiences alike.The Kitchen, Oscar winning actor Daniel Kaluuya’s directorial debut (co-directed with Kibwe Tavares) has hit NETFLIX with a bang. While over on DISNEY+, surreal comedy series Extraordinary has become a fan favourite, with hopeful speculation for a third series.

Nominated productions include: Stranger Things: The First Shadow (pictured below), Blue and The Rhinegold by the English National Opera and Dinosaur World Live.
*UPDATE : Stranger Things: The First Shadow took home Best Set Design and Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play and Dinosaur World Live won Best Family Show!
We had the pleasure of hosting rehearsals for Jungle‘s performance (AND their iconic dance routine). They ended the night taking home the award Group of the Year!
We also welcomed back Becky Hill to rehearse her electric performance with Chase and Status.
We celebrated our Head of Studios, Paul de Carvalho’s 60th birthday this month.
Paul has been at 3 Mills for almost 9 years, has been Head of Studios for just over 6 of them and is a staple of the Film and Television Studio industry.
Happy Birthday Paul!
WOMEN IN FILM AND TV EVENT
We had a wonderful evening hosting a Women in Film and TV members event in our 3 Mills Screening Room and Cafe. It was a great chance to catch up with women just starting out in the industry, alongside seasoned professionals (many of whom had stories of 3 Mills throughout the years!).
Women in Film & TV (UK) is a leading membership organisation for women working in creative media in the UK and runs various online and in-person events throughout the year.

WELCOMING IN SPRING
We’re can’t wait to continue improving the green space around the site this year. Last year, we placed planters throughout the outdoor common areas, seeded wildflowers in the once empty patch by our vehicle entrance, and placed a number of bird feeders, bug houses and even a running rope for the squirrels to play on.
