#MadeAt3Mills Summer Reception 2018
On Thursday 12th July, 3 Mills Studios held their annual #MadeAt3Mills Summer Reception at the ArcelorMittal Orbit in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
It was a fantastic evening with guests from all areas of the industry, including partners and past, present and future clients. Guests had a chance to go down the ArcelorMittal Orbit’s slide, the world’s longest tunnel slide, which is 178m long and circles the ArcelorMittal Orbit 12 times!
There was also an Isle of Dogs VR experience, where guests could hear the actors talk about their characters in the form of the animated dogs, and view the hard work that went on behind the scenes into making the sets and puppets!
We also had two set pieces, which are usually displayed in 3 Mills Studios’ Reception, from animations that were made at 3 Mills Studios! We had a starving dog, from Wes Anderson’s latest film ‘Isle of Dogs’, and ‘Sparky’ from Tim Burton’s ‘Frankenweenie’.
There was of course excellent food and drink as well, with the steak and chip skewers and banoffee spoons being particularly popular!
This was the second time that 3 Mills Studios has held this event, and we hope we can continue this new tradition! We’re looking forward to next year already!
You can see all of the photos of the event on our Facebook page.
