3 Mills 2023 round-up

2023 has been our year to focus on upgrading, adapting, and learning to make our studio better than ever!

While it was a challenging time for film and television, we’ve been lucky to still welcome some fantastic productions to our site. Join us in looking back at an interesting year and looking forward to the next.

The Gin Still was revamped into three floors of modern creative offices. The Screening Room was refurbished with care to offer the magic of old-school cinema with all the latest technology. We refurbished our Cafe area, now a bustling creative hub with the help of our new hospitality partner, Jones & Sons, who provide a variety of delicious, fresh food every day.

3 MILLS BEHIND THE STUDIOS

This year we welcomed the Mayor of London on a tour around the site, we joined a new TV Access Project (TAP) training programme to focus on improving accessibility, and we planted our new wildflower garden for the site.

A big thanks for those of you who came to join us for an evening on the sunny cobbles at our 3 Mills Summer Party!
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and Deputy Mayor for Culture and the Creative Industries, Justine Simons outside the newly renovated Gin Still building.
The Studio signed up to become TAP Activators committing them to prioritising disability training and appointing an access lead or champion.
The 3 Mills Studio management team out planting to create more green space for the site, just one of our BAFTA Albert Studio Sustainability Standard improvements.
